Students at Central High School are expected to perform at a level which merits a grade of 70 or higher for the semester average in each course in which they are enrolled. If a student does not meet these expectations, they need to meet with their counselor to determine the best way to recover this credit.
The following options are potentially available:
1. Recover the credit via Plato Web, with the permission of the teacher who issued the failing grade. This should be worked on independently from anywhere with Internet access. Students must have a grade no lower than a 50.
2. With approval from administration, the student may retake the course in the traditional classroom setting.
3. Students may attend Summer School to make up the credit. There is a monetary fee for this option.
